Our stay at Villa Wilali in Bali (January 12–19) was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by pristine beauty, tranquility, and warm hospitality. The location is breathtaking — majestic, cloud-capped mountains on one side and the vast, serene waters of the Java Sea on the other. Waking up to such a stunning landscape every day felt like a dream.

The property itself is a paradise. Every corner of Villa Wilali is designed to offer peace, comfort, and a connection with nature. The lush gardens, the private pool, and the beautifully maintained villa create an atmosphere of pure relaxation.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. Their warmth and dedication made us feel completely at home. The food was beyond amazing — each meal was prepared with love and attention to detail. We were especially touched when they made Indian cuisine just for us, bringing flavors from home to our Bali getaway.

A special mention to Dereksen (I hope I got the spelling right!), the property manager, whose knowledge, kindness, and attentiveness made everything even more seamless. Whether it was arranging activities, answering questions, or ensuring our comfort, he and the team went above and beyond.

If I had the chance, I would return to Villa Wilali again and again. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience that stays in your heart. Highly, highly recommended!

In the early morning, the day begins with cleaning the pool, followed by the gardener who removes fallen blossoms from the lawn of the beautiful garden and waters the many plants. Meanwhile, the cook Jero prepares breakfast, which is delivered at the desired time. Toast, butter, strawberry jam, coffee, and a fruit plate are included. Additional treats can be ordered.

During the cozy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool, sea, and the beautiful garden, the house is cleaned, beds are made, etc.

On request, one can order dinner for the evening via WhatsApp. Likewise, breakfast can be ordered at the desired time for the following day.

Direksen, the manager, is always reachable and checks in occasionally to see if everything is okay. Need a taxi? A day trip by car into the countryside or a snorkeling trip by boat? Temple visit? An on-site massage? No problem at all. Just contact Direksen, who reliably organizes everything.

And the house? Simply fantastic. With four bedrooms each with its own bathroom, a spacious terrace with many seating options, a large pool, and private access to the sea. Basically, nothing is missing for a relaxing stay.

Thanks again to the Direksen team. You are super nice and friendly. No wish was left unfulfilled. The only pity is that you are so far away from our German homeland. Otherwise, we would definitely come to relax more often.
